About Me

Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She provides therapy to adolescents and adults of all ages, genders, sexual identities, sexual orientations, and racial/cultural backgrounds. She is experienced in working with individuals who struggle with a variety of emotional and mental health concerns, including anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties or loss. She also has a vested interest and specialized experience in treating eating disorders.

Her approach to therapy is relational and strength-based, drawing upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) treatment modalities. Samantha feels strongly about empowering people to change their lives in ways that are individually meaningful. She strives to maintain an atmosphere of comfort, compassion, empathy, and understanding within each therapeutic relationship.
